Hello friends,

A quick word for our backers waiting on that final pallet. We have heard from our EU Fulfillment house that the pallet is on its way to the USA. We have received confirmation from our logistics/freight company as of Thursday night that it has cleared UK customs and it is "on the water".

The estimated date of arrival to the USA is April 10.

If that date remains reliable, the games should get to the USA fulfillment center quickly. Shortly after that, fulfillment will begin shipping to the remaining backers.

When we hear that the games have started shipping to backers, we will return with news.

THOSE FINAL MISPLACED PALLETS

Hello wonderful SOS backers.

We missed our typical monthly update a few weeks ago. Apologies for that. Even if there is not much to post we like to keep everyone posted on the general status. The past weeks have seen a bit of a trickle with regards to fulfilling the few remaining backers. For those that are waiting for games, here is a quick recap of the current situation:

Our manufacturer shipped too many games to the UK fulfillment center and too few to the US center. Our Fulfillment center only caught that at the end of the year, when they blasted as fast as they could through stock in the Nov/Dec months. Since then, we have been at a standstill because we do not have stock to ship. We should be receiving the remaining stock from the UK very soon. The moment those pallets arrive, we will be back to shipping, full bore. We do not have a specific date that they will arrive yet, but the moment that we do, we will post a new update with info. We share any frustration that our backers might have and wish things were going more smoothly here, at the tail end of our fulfillment, and we look forward to getting everyone their games very soon.

Hello Everyone

At this moment, 93 percent of all backers have received their games. It has been a hairy and hectic couple of months with way more rollercoaster rides than we are comfortable with... but we are really almost there. Our fulfillment houses continue to work on completing the task even as they struggle with extremely reduced staff numbers.

We are all utterly tired of hearing about COVID impacts, but it remains true that it has been impairing every step of the process. Acquiring shipping materials, reduced co-location capacity, slower transportation... everything. Even as we write, Rhode Island, home to Wild Power Games and most of our staff, currently has the number one worst COVID numbers on the planet! The important thing is that everyone involved is working to stay safe and healthy. 

We like to think that Streets Of Steel is helping get families and friends through these hard times. We are happy to see you playing the games and sharing your fun moments on social media. Please remember to tag us if you do @wildpowergames.

Positive reviews are also rolling in, which is great. We will be sharing them on social media soon. It is funny how many people are loving Mayor Van Dammage! Sounds like a spinoff is in order :D

Shipping update: 

As of this writing, 742 of the over 1200 packages have shipped since Monday! 

COVID

Coronavirus continues to create obstacles for us in new ways. Shipping is going slower than hoped as our warehouses are running with reduced staff in order to keep their workers healthy. We, and they, appreciate everyone's continued patience.

USA

425 of the 700+ US tracking numbers went out yesterday. These should have been duplicates of tracking emails that those backers already received between Monday and Thursday, as their packages shipped. We sent ours out yesterday, even though the fulfillment company likely sent theirs as well. Same numbers, different sender! If you have not received your packages, do not fret. They are coming.

If you are a backer that ordered Metal Quarters, for example, we know that there is a likelihood that your package has not shipped yet. The fulfillment company started with backer packages that were "lookalikes". So, if you funded a tier and a la carte Add-Ons, there is a high chance that your semi-unique combo package has not yet been processed. We know that many more are shipping tomorrow as well.

The US warehouse has been cranking the best they can with their COVID-reduced staff. 

CANADA

We have been told that Canada shipping will start today. We will continue to keep everyone posted.

EU, AU, NZ

Almost all backers in these regions have been fulfilled. There are a few dozen that are still in progress.

ASIA

Almost all backers in these regions have been fulfilled. There are a few dozen that are still in progress.

SOUTH AMERICA & MIDDLE EAST

These areas are always very difficult to ship to. The return rate is astronomical, unfortunately. We have been trying and will continue attempting to get those packages on their way.

USA SHIPPING UNDERWAY & OTHER NEWS

Hello, fellow Streets Of Steelers-

We have some good news for many of you. As you know from our last update, many backers around the world have been receiving their games with the exception of the USA and Canada. There have been unfortunate issues with our fulfillment company handling those two regions. We were previously unable to get any motion from those fulfillment partners. We have pushed hard and finally things are changing so we wanted to give you a mid-cycle update.

Before we detail those, we thought that you should know what is going on, high-level, and how retail sales are influencing decisions made.

BIG PLANS AND RETAIL CROSSOVER

Basically, our fulfillment companies have had the game in their locations as early as August. This includes not only worldwide regions but ALSO our distribution partners who cover retail sales to stores. It is important for us as a company to be in stores for the holidays for obvious reasons, so in August, once we knew all locations had the games, we arranged to launch mid-November. It takes a lot of effort on the Distributor's part to get games into stores so their wheels have been in motion since August. It was super important to us that backers receive their games BEFORE retail, so we set a date for Nov 13. Our massive COVID-based delays really messed with our plans but we still thought that this was possible. Our EU and AU partners proved that it was.

THE DELAYS

Though we checked in with our US/CA partners weekly, we never saw any progress. Last week, we reached out to get some assistance from outside forces which changed everything. Thursday, we were put in touch with the owner of the fulfillment company who said they had no idea of the mishap, but now that they did they would work hard to get our games out to backers before retail release. Thursday night, we were on the phone with the head of the fulfillment warehouse and it was clear they were pushing hard. By end of day Friday, 250 packages were shipped out!

USA

If you are in the United States, we are happy to say that your games have either shipped already or should be shipped this weekend and maybe into Monday. Tracking numbers should be in your inbox if they have shipped. More specifically, backers that contributed towards the LEVEL 1 + LEVEL 2 tier (contains plastic minis) and the LEVEL 1 tier (contains plastic minis) should have shipped already. We are getting reports from backers on the East Coast that their games already arrived in great shape and are excited to have them.

CANADA

Unfortunately, Canadian games are still not shipping. We just found out that the company we hired not only handed it off to another company, but it seems that the games were then passed off to yet another company. This is news to us and obviously, extremely frustrating. We will be pushing to get these orders to their backers as best we can, and are very sorry about this delay.
